Our Sea Cadet Corps Striping Up service includes the complete removal and replacement of rank lace using regulation 2% gold lace, hand sewn using traditional military tailoring techniques by our experienced military tailoring team.
Whether you are promoting within the Sea Cadet Corps or require a rerank following an appointment change, every uniform is carefully updated to ensure a professional finish and compliance with current dress regulations.
All work is completed in-house at Tin Trousers HQ by our security-cleared team, ensuring your uniform remains safe, secure and under our direct control throughout the process.
Turnaround Times
Standard Service
Up to 4 weeks from receipt of your uniform.

Postal Service
Unable to visit us in person? We offer a secure UK-wide postal service.
We understand that many Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) balance their cadet commitments alongside civilian careers. Our postal service allows uniforms to be sent to us from anywhere in the UK, making the striping up process as convenient as possible.
