📦 Shipping Policy

1. Delivery Options

·       We use Royal Mail or trusted courier services for both incoming and outgoing parcels.

·       Delivery types include:

·       Tracked UK Delivery

·       Signed-for Delivery (recommended for valuable items)

·       International Delivery (subject to customs and service availability)

·       You are welcome to arrange your own courier service if preferred.

2. Turnaround Time

·       Orders are typically completed within 5–10 working days, depending on the complexity of the work and the current queue.

·       Express services may be available by prior agreement for an additional fee.

·       Turnaround estimates begin once all required items and instructions are received.

3. Shipping Fees

·       Shipping fees will be quoted at the time of order.

·       Costs depend on weight, size, value, and destination.

·       Clients are responsible for return postage unless otherwise agreed.

4. Responsibility and Risk

·       We recommend sending garments using a tracked and insured service.

·       Tin Trousers is not liable for loss or damage in transit caused by third-party delivery providers.

·       If you’re sending uniform by post, please include:

·       Your full name and contact details

·       Details of the requested work

·       Any deadlines

🔁 Returns Policy

1. Bespoke and Altered Garments

·       Returns are not accepted for bespoke or altered garments.

·       We offer free corrections if we have made a mistake.

·       If you supplied incorrect information (e.g. measurements), we will happily adjust the garment at cost.

2. Second-Hand Uniforms

·       We accept returns of second-hand items within 14 days of receipt, provided that:

·       The item is in original condition (unworn and unaltered)

·       You notify us in writing via email before returning

·       You cover return shipping unless the item was faulty or misdescribed

3. Faulty Goods

·       If you believe an item is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

·       We will inspect the item and offer a:

·       Repair

·       Replacement

·       Refund (if repair or replacement isn’t possible)

·       This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

4. How to Return an Item
